Prof. Dr. Bruch, Dr. Linck und Dr. Buschmann treat nearly 6000 patients per year with diseases of blood, solid tumours, oesophagus/stomach/pancreas/gut and liver in an outpatient specialized group practice and as consultants in 3 hospitals with departments of surgery, internal medicine and gynaecology.
Further one they are members of the expert centres for breast cancer (Bonn-Euskirchen) and colon cancer (Bonn and Rhein-Erft).
Prof. Dr. Bruch, Dr. Linck und Dr. Buschmann are active members of scientific societies for Haematology, Oncology, Gastroenterology in Germany, Europe and USA (ASCO, ASH, ESMO, EHA, DGHO, bng).
The physicians take part in Phase II-, III-, IV-studies regarding blood diseases (CML, CLL, NHL), cancer (colon, breast, lung) and liver (chronic hepatitis B and C).
Actual scientific questions are Hepatitis C virus dections in liver specimens, infections in oncologic patients and hyperthermic chemotherapy in cancer.
Prof. Bruch is active as Professor at the University of Seville, Spain, in the doctorate course “Avances en medicina”.
Prof. Bruch is educator and examiner at the board of consultants for internal medicine and hematology/oncology in the Ärztekammer Nordrhein.
